• Tower 40 Replacement
i. Chief Cruse presented new information on financing the vehicle and restated reasoning on why to purchase the truck this year presents the best long term option for the Village. The committee agreed to present the request to put the purchase of the tower truck back into the 2011 budget.
III. Other Items
• Budget
i. Mr. Lohmeier presented his thoughts on having a true balanced budget vs one with contingency funds. Discussions pursued on additional areas for cuts. Members did not come to a conscience on how to proceed with reducing the budget. Committee agreed on the amount of raise had to remain at 1%.
• Healthcare Plan
i. Mr. Cameron & Ms.Tople presented the details of how the current plan will affect the Village with the new Federal & State requirements. After discussions committee agreed to utilize the state mandates and to have employees be able to be charged for eligible children to be charge for ages 26-28.
• Gorman Farm Contract
i. Mr. Lohmeier requested a discussion on the proposed contract and in particular the length of the contract. Ideas were presented and a consensus was to request full council to consider a 3 year contract versus a 5 year.
